For camera, tracking, and stage teams

Make the camera and wall agree

Separate geometry, timing, sampling, and color. A good static frame does not certify a moving shot.

  1. What the camera sees is not what the whole wall shows

Map the camera view to the physical display.

  2. Lens calibration: make the real and virtual camera agree

    Document the camera/lens calibration.

  3. Survey tracking coverage before choosing the shot

Walk the intended move and its occlusion risks.

  4. Timecode labels the frame. Genlock controls the timing.

Test frame labels, cadence, and motion separately.

  5. Test LED moiré with a matrix, not a pitch slogan

Record the actual lens, distance, focus, and shutter combinations.

  6. Color has to survive the trip through the camera

    Review the recorded color chain.
